infoWhy this? This unit develops our ability to evaluate psychology as a discipline by examining its assumptions, biases, ethical implications, and competing theoretical positions. It helps us judge the scope of psychological claims and construct balanced arguments about explanations of behaviour.

scheduleWhy now? Taught early in Year 13 after returning to biopsychology, this unit draws on a broad range of Year 12 theories and research so that debates can be examined through concrete examples. It provides a shared framework for deeper evaluation and connections across schizophrenia, relationships, and forensic psychology.
