infoWhy this? A sustained project enables us to investigate fine artists, movements, and contexts, using contextual understanding to develop informed visual ideas. Exploring formal elements, surface, texture, and mark-making through traditional and digital media helps us select and refine materials and processes to communicate our intentions.
scheduleWhy now? Sustained exploration in the Year 10 summer term allows us to connect artist research with practical experimentation and identify promising approaches. This establishes a breadth of experience from which to make more independent choices in the Year 11 personal investigation.
