Exploring destinations and living environments across French-speaking communities broadens our perspectives, while explaining choices, weighing advantages and disadvantages, and giving advice helps us communicate informed views.

scheduleWhy now? Accounts of holidays and celebrations in Theme 2 provide a foundation for combining completed events with background descriptions in travel narratives. Earlier discussion of celebrities and social media also leads naturally into technology use and online safety. Bringing these strands together with local and global environmental issues consolidates transferable language before the themes are revisited in greater depth in Year 11.
