infoWhy this? We study urban issues and challenges because more than half of the world’s population now live in cities, and this number is rapidly growing. Geography helps us understand the opportunities and challenges created by urbanisation, such as housing, transport, inequality and sustainability. This topic is important as it connects global trends to local case studies, helping students evaluate how cities can become more sustainable and inclusive.
