infoWhy this? Developing a free composition in a chosen style helps us establish a personal musical voice while strengthening control of musical material, structure, and expression. Workshop-based exploration and critical listening support purposeful experimentation, evaluation, and revision.
scheduleWhy now? Following our instrumental focus and introduction to DAW work, we can draw on practical and technological skills to develop a sustained composition. Developing the piece during Year 10 Spring Term leaves time to test and refine ideas before completing it in the summer.
