  • Use the Grid Method to accurately copy or enlarge an image by selecting a clear reference image and drawing a grid of equal-sized squares over it using a ruler and pencil.
  • Draw a matching grid (same number of squares and proportions) on blank drawing paper.
  • Focus on one square at a time to copy the contents from the reference image to the drawing paper, paying attention to where lines and shapes cross the edges of each square.
  • Add details and refine the drawing with features such as feathers, eyes, and beak, and use shading and texture for realism.
  • Carefully erase the grid lines once the drawing is complete.
