infoWhy this? Climate change is a global process with uneven environmental, social, and economic consequences. Understanding the evidence, the enhanced greenhouse effect, vulnerability, mitigation, adaptation, and climate justice enables us to assess competing responses and make informed judgements about sustainable futures.

scheduleWhy now? Positioned after extreme weather, this unit synthesises prior learning about weather and climate, ecosystems, hazards, coasts, rivers, and cities. We can therefore connect atmospheric change to impacts across different environments and evaluate responses from local adaptation to international agreements.
