Building Wellbeing, Identity and Life Skills
infoWhy this? Connecting exercise, stress management, positive memories, and realistic views of social media helps us maintain wellbeing and protect self-esteem. First-aid knowledge, including treatment for common injuries and the DRSABCD primary survey, equips us to respond calmly, safely, and responsibly when someone needs help.
scheduleWhy now? This unit extends the previous focus on physical activity, relationships, stress, and self-maintenance by applying that learning to practical wellbeing and emergency situations. Completing it at the end of Year 8 strengthens our independence and prepares us to approach the wider social influences and safety challenges explored in Year 9.
